| PLAYER PROFILE - CRAIG PLOUGHMAN |
|
Name
- Craig Lambu Ploughman Birthday
- 23/4/1981 (St George’s day. 110%
English me) Place
of birth - Kings - Mill
Hospital Position
normally played - Left wing, right wing when lucky. How
many years have you supported The Stags - 20 years. When
did you make your FTYBR FC debut - Grimsby away in 2005 (unused
sub), came on as sub the following game at home against Macclesfield. What
if anything, can you remember about it - The pitch was like a bog. What
is the most memorable FTYBR FC performance you have played in - Has
to be the first game against the Stags Legends, we got hammered 9-3 but
I will never forget being on the same pitch as Greenacre, McCaffery and
co. What
is the best goal you have seen scored by FTYBR FC - Martin Clark
scored a couple of crackers away at Forest a few years ago, but they
were both in his own net. I
would say Gary Bird probably wins it after smashing one in from near the
half way line at Bristol Rovers.
Who
do you think is the all time best player to have ever played for FTYBR
- Andy ‘Chicken
Holmes’. Out
of all the away games, which one did you enjoy the most - Any where
James Brown read us a pre match story from his collection of the finest
English literature. And
what about the worst - Easy, QPR on route to watch the Stags v
Barnet. QPR 10-v-0 ten men
FTYBR. Got up at stupid
o’clock in the morning to get stuck in traffic and then play 90
minutes with a dodgy foot (same as any game really) in a mud bath and
get thumped by the cocky cockneys. Who
is the most unusual player you have played with and why -
Keith Gilbert, I would love to know what it is like to live on
planet Keith. What
about the worst dresser in the team - Martin Clark-King Chav Who
do you think eats the most - James Wheatman or Ricky Okon And
what about drinks the most - James Brown can drink Strongbow like it
is going out of fashion. If
you won some major money on the lottery what would you buy FTYBR FC
- A smart coach and something nice for us to travel in too (joke) oh and
a tracksuit for Wayne Sharpe with his name on the back in bright gold
lettering.
Now
for slightly the sillier side of things……. Favourite
film and why - The Great Escape, because it’s The Great Escape. What
was the last DVD you purchased - Jenna Jameson does………ahem I
mean The Italian Job (original). Last
time you went to the pictures and what did you go to see - Don’t
Mess With The Zohan Favourite
kind of music - Rock/Indie Last
CD you purchased - Stereophonics ‘Pull The Pin’ Ugliest
girl you have ever dated and why - Her name was Donna, her dad owned
a chippy and I used to get free kebabs. Was
her Mother even uglier - Oh yes, her name was Sish Favourite
flavour of crisps - Cheese and Onion Favourite
food/drink - Indian/Jack Daniels & Coke If
you were taken away by aliens, what part of your body would you least
like probed - Any of it. Well
they would have to buy me at least one drink first. If
no one would ever know, bar yourself, what woman would you most like to
take to bed - Dawn French, have you not seen her jubblies. What
is the worst ever item of clothing you have purchased - A hideous
bright yellow Ben Sherman shirt, though at the time I thought it was
ace. Right
then, what player in the world, past or present would you most compare
yourself to - Goma Lambu If
you could sign a premiership player to play along side you who would you
sign - Liam Lawrence, that way I could get ‘that’ lasses phone
number off him. Tell
us at least one funny story about yourself - I am related to Martin
Clark and that makes me laugh every time I think about it. And
Stags….. Best
ever game you have seen - Chesterfield 1 v 2 Mansfield (the perfect
game). Favourite
player - Phil Stant Best
ground visited - St James Park And
the worst - Saltergate What
do you think Stags can achieve in five years - The purchase of a
fully working fax machine and then back to being a successful league
club What
is your favourite ever Stags shirt - The 94/95 play off season kit.
Amber and blue stripes. Very
smart. Best
ever manager and why - Billy Dearden because his side at the start
of the last promotion season produced the best football I have seen in
20 years of supporting the Stags.
How
about worst - (1) Trinder (2) Cowling (3) Prinderville
(4) Sherlock (5) Lever (6) Moore (7) Slawson (8)Fraser McClachlan
(9) Joe O’Neil (10) Sale (11) Glyn Hurst
