Your right Jake, he's sat next to DS. Good player but not the same as Laps.
Broomo, this isn't a Laps replacement is it?

After today he needs a row full of new signings sat next to him, we are a bang average league 2 side. Feel sorry for Radford as there is a few stealing a living off him at the moment

Not sure either of them are a direct Laps replacement as such.
Both different types.
Reed will get on the ball a lot and look to get us playing forward quicker.

Wasn't Reed outstanding for them last season?

Thanks for the info, He will be a good signing. Good age too, I thought we played well today. I have been told we will make a total of 5 signings. So another 2 after Reed.

He's a very good little player. Nige gave him his debut at the Blades at 17 and he looked like he would push on and play at a much higher level.
Tigerish, good on the ball and always looks to play it forward.

Thanks mate. I recall their fans saying he was very good but not heard much about him this season

Found out about Louis late last night, wasn't expecting him to sign until Monday.
I know about the 4th but haven't heard (or asked) about the 5th.
I'd personally prefer an attacking wide man with a bit of pace over a defender.

I don't know anything about him but we've been crying out for a League 2 Gatuso for years. We really need a midfield drill sergeant, so doesn't need to be a like for like replacement for Laps. This might set Boateng free.
You've got to go there and come back, to know where you've been.

No issues with any of our signings.
Kilgour has good potential.
Johnson looked tidy today.
Louis Reed has always impressed when we have played against him.
But they’re going to have to make a huge impact to turn our team in to a top 7 side come the end of the season.
Just look at our upcoming fixtures….
In our next 11 we have;
Northampton A, Doncaster, Bradford A, Carlisle A, Tranmere A, Salford, Wimbledon A, Orient, Stockport A, Sutton.
If anyone genuinely thinks we will be in the top 7 after that lot then I want a pint of what they’re on! It doesn’t get much tougher than that. To not pick up any serious points from the last 3 home games is hugely disappointing

I'd sooner play teams around us, we are capable of winning some of those games. This league isn't great, except from the top 2 no one is consistent. I think we will get points at Northampton, Donny, Bradford, Tranmere and Salford.

To gain points you need to score goals we are shot shy and pretty much predictable in our play …

Just bring Danny Johnson back and give him a run in the side. What have we got to lose ?

And a play that absolutely wouldn’t play well for us. Everyone thinks he’s come and score goals to prove a point

What type of player is the 4th signing you’ve heard about?
I agree, I think we have enough at the back now, and would like to see someone who can put the ball in the back of the net.

We didn't have enough centre backs at the start of the season, we sold a first choice and signed another. We still don't have enough centre backs.

I think that's the problem, looks like they are trying to get him on the cheap.

I've never considered Hawkins a centre back. He was a striker who did a job there, so for me we have gained a centre back and lost a striker. Therefore, as we saw today, we really need a striker now. We also need a left sided defender, but a striker has to be the next priority.
