I can’t see him leaving Barnsley at the moment. I recall reading that he was happy as part of a mgt team rather than being number 1
Whatever he does good luck to him

Adam Murray has a nice safe job at Barnsley and has survived a couple of managerial changes. He'd be mad to take on the Barrow job although I think he could do a decent job for them.

Adam Murray strikes me as someone who doesn't want to be second fiddle to anyone ( which I admire ). A manager's job in the EFL ? He would jump at it if the terms and budget were reasonable.
Managing Barrow didn't do Ian Evatt any harm.

Miles away from home. Less money than what he’s on now. Lots of pressure that he’s not got now. He could be in the Premier League in the next few weeks. Absolutely no chance will he take it.

He's on the brink of being a Premier League assistant manager. No way he's going to Barrow.

Barrow turnover of managers is a bit daft, be smart to stay where he is.

Bit different being an assistant manager at a high level champ club, and possible Orem to being a manager at barrow and being turned out after a year
He’ll stay at Barnsley.

Why would he be " turned out after a year" ? More likely to be successful and obtain a manager's job at a bigger club. Just like Ian Evatt did.

I think they’ll win in Swansea.

He strikes me as the opposite, at the moment at least. He’s given several interviews in the last year or so saying how much he loves it at Barnsley and how keen he is to learn from all the different managers he’s had.

Barnsley were decent and I agree I think they will too. Swansea were all over the place at the back at times.

I’d hate to have a young manager back who has a deep affiliation with the club and signed the players that made up the back bone of our squad for the next 3 managers, whilst working on a shoestring budget!

I agree. I for one would like to see him back sometime in the future. What he lacked when with us was experience and an older head at the side of him.
