Another thing I remembered, when we signed Joe Riley, we didn’t announce in until the day of the game. Could be that we announce someone tomorrow.
Or it could just be that we’ve not signed anyone

Hemmings is perfect for GC style, his hold up play and positioning was superb. Finishing, let’s not talk about it!

He only signed for Burton a couple months ago so we're not signing him, but he was a decent finisher. He scored 15 in 37 league games for us. Why would anyone think that that's not good?

Because it's not 20 goals. It's a rule many adhere to. A striker must score 20 goals or he's crap.

Maynard and Hemmings would be a great forward line but they would never get the ball passed to them!

Very harsh view on Hemmings in my opinion. It took him a while to get going, but once he got his first goal he was a 1 in 2 man from that point onwards until the end of the season which is a brilliant record.
His link up play was good as well. Describing him as a car crash option is well off the mark - I’d arguably take him over any of our current options.
Somewhat irrelevant discussion anyway as he’s only just signed for Burton.

Bizarre comments about Hemmings!
He was superb for us last time around and I'd have him back in a heartbeat.

You can tell it was a good deadline day when we're talking about if Hemmings was good or not
