Although i understand its not hard to feel a little uneasy looking at the results and comparing ourselves to some others.

You thought we'd be fine last season

However, our general overall play isn't great at the moment.
I would have thought we would have had nearly our starting 11 playing tonight to give them chance to gel in a 'real life' game but no.
We do need a midfielder, that is obvious and hopefully the club are doing there best to make it happen.
onwards and upwards, roll on Saturday a 2 - 0 victory will send this message board into silence !!!

Face facts, it's been garbage since he was let go.
It was also garbage when he was here too!
Dan, that's simply not the case. Some of the football played under DF was some of the best I've seen since supporting the Stags way back in the 60s.
I agree that towards the end of his tenure the football was poor. Having said that, since he left we have had a full season and it's continued to be poor.

You sound like Boris Johnson

These were competitive games, with prize money for winning games and progression to the next round. So doesn't that matter?

I was in the privileged position of being pitchside and the passing/movement of their 'kids' was incredible. At times we were chasing shadows. Let's not forget that these kids have been trained by (one of) the best Coaches in the world and you can tell. It's clear they've all been drilled in playing the game the right way, even the keeper was playing like an outfield player with his passing. Despite the fact it was my team they 'destroyed' it was a pleasure to be there to watch them. A lot of them will go on to make good careers in the game.

Pep does not coach them, City just brought in coach from Italy.
