John & Carolyn Radford have pledged to cover any financial shortfalls over the coming weeks that result from the loss of matchday income.
Personally I think we shouldbe proud of our owners.

Amazing gesture from the Radfords.
Mansfield Town, my club even though been exiled in London since 1983.

Totally agree. Why do people have to be so destructive?. Lets embrace how lucky we are.

Has to be said pal. Continual slagging off of Caz, wanting Radford out etc, some on here are toxic beyond help.

It’s completely relevant.
We’ve got to be lucky we’ve got the owners we have.
I’d question any fan who suggests they “should let the Haslam” era go - maybe they didn’t follow Mansfield at the time?

You can't argue with the job they've done and I think they have deserved more than they have got so far. Great owners no doubt.
I'm not trying to be argumentative, but what other option is there regarding covering costs?
You've got to go there and come back, to know where you've been.

That backs up my point above to Spanish stag though.
What happens if you don’t have a chairman who can afford to cover you
Or in the instance of Haslam a chairman who won’t back you. Seriously, if this happened under Haslam we’d have been buggered

Precisely. If Radford hadn't covered costs might we have gone bust? He's never going to let that happen is he. I suppose some chairmen might have written it out as a loan.
Shows Radford has the club's best interests at heart which is good to know (if you didn't already know)!

Great stuff from JR.
Hopefully his insurance business doesn't take too much of a hiding from CV.

Amazing gesture from them but still think that the Premier League, FA and Sky should do more to help the smaller professional clubs in this crisis

I doubt the EPL would give a raspberries if the bottom 2 divisions went bust. More £££ for them greedy raspberry.
