Precisely. It will also annoy Maynard no end, players like him want to see the game through, there’s goals to be had late on. He’ll be fuming now and we were lucky not to lose that.
Got to say, I’m beginning to feel pretty disappointed with Coughlan from a tactical point of view. I’ll give him the benefit of doubt somewhat until he gets his own team
in but nevertheless he needs to learn quick. Just asking the team to run at 100mph isn’t enough unfortunately.
Nobody in midfield who is willing to get the ball down and play, they just want to get rid ASAP. It’s awful to watch and each of them as bad as each other in there.
