The previous season, away at Gay Meadow, a punch up was arranged for after the game under the bridge, however when the Stags turned up Shrewsbury legged it. Didn’t even get within 50ft.
The first game of the following season was to save face for them!

Can’t imagine the BBC would want to subject folk to our football under dempster. Folk will be asking for tv did tv licenses to be refunded.

It's hard to see why any round 2 tie would be though.
Does anyone remotely care about round 2 apart from the two clubs involved?
The FA Cup starts in January when the big boys meet the minnows.
Bromley v Bristol Rovers etc does not rock many boats these days as this event is a mere blip on the Richter scale but Bromley v Spurs is a different matter according to the press.
