That was the season when Exeter went on to make the play-offs. At that stage they were 23rd in the table, six points from the play-offs.
But Exeter had Paul Tisdale and, like him or loathe him, we had SE both good managers and you'd have confidence they would come good. Sorry but I don't have that with JD.
Evans couldn't even manage it even though he's a 'serial promotion winner' and a 'good manager'
I'd have Evans back in a heartbeat. I actually liked him. He's a pantomime villain.
No, he's just a turd.

Evans hasn’t actually achieve anything in years. All bluster since then. He’s doing a cracking job at Gillingham...

Exactly, his only tactic is to berate officials and sign 764 players (slight exaggeration there
) now you can get fined and sent off for berating officials he is being found wanting.

Yeah. I think it was post work beers talking. I'll retract that statement if you'll let me.

Arguably both us and Evans are no better off than the point at which he left when we were 4th. I know many don't like him but I still think had he stayed we would be in league 1, maybe for our second season. We were starting to motor nicely towards the run in, looking certain for the play offs at least until he left. Since then Evan's reputation is plummeting and we didn't make the play offs until the season after, now we're seemingly going backwards.
I think JD is on borrowed time and the next few fixtures will decide his fate. I'm not too discerned to see us think this one through, our next appointment needs to be a good one if we are to make one. We're in danger of going through the mill of churning through managers and throwing away millions in the process, it's not something that should be taken on a whim unless you want to be another County/Chesterfield.

Pochettino could be available.
Just shows how hard management is.
Same players as last year but somethings very wrong.

Any team, no matter how good, that doesn’t continue to evolve gets sussed out by the better teams. And in a leagues with the strength of depth that the prem and Champions league have that’s a lot of teams. Spurs have basically had the same thirteen/fourteen starters for three seasons now.

Chrisuknottm, it's well known that bobbystagsfan gets triggered when comments are made to suggest that the corner has not yet been turned after a win in isolation. Can you bare this in mind for future please?
