Evans our most successful? He only achieved mid table obscurity here.
As for entertaining. It was Paul Cox football but with a better standard of player.

Nothing
Beat me to it. Success is measured by whether you achieve your aims. Our aim was promotion and he scuppered that for his own personal gain. The Boris Johnson of lower league football.
Nah, Boris is an entertaining Baffoon whereas Evans is an overweight obnoxious self important nobody.

Looks like Stevie boy is struggling at the Priestfield and so much so has the audacity of now accusing opposing managers of disgraceful touchline behaviour and comments - pot and kettle...
I mean Fat Boy being 'incensed' at comments by other managers?! Who'd have ever thunk it...
I am particularly impressed with how Evans claims he 'spoke politely to the fourth official..."

Having read the article, had first hand experience of the odious obese swine and watched his antics when he managed us, my money is on Paul Lambert’s version of events.

and some on Facebook want him back here.
No chance, his time is running out. He'll be in the non league after Gillingham and I doubt he'll see the season out with this boyfriend raynor

They want him back?
The guy only ever achieved mid table whilst here. May as well stick with John.

If John gets us to mid table it will be quite a (raspberry) achievement, if he gets us to fourth where Evo left us it'll be a miracle!!

he actually achieved nothing in his tenure with the budget he had. Cox is the only manager to do so in 18 (is it really that long) years. one of, if not the toughest league to escape from too.

Murray finished 12th, Evans finished 12th, pretty mid table to me. Flitcroft finished 8th the following season. Flitcroft finished 4th the season after.
You cannot get any more midtable than 12th.
Frankly it's where you finish that matters. Evans got us to 5th when he left. Same time the season later we were 3rd.
