Logan was re-signed, so if he is on silly money there is only one person to blame?

Ah, but what is Morcambe's 2nd choice keeper like? That's the telling factor
He played on Tuesday night and let in 2 goals but saved a weak penalty.

The keeper who played Tuesday was the second choice. Roach is the No 1

It does not matter who is in goal unless we can defend better as a team including stopping crosses into the box and conceding goals from set pieces.

When the 2nd goal went in he came across to celebrate with the fans it looked like it meant a lot to him and he did his job well today, no dramas or even near dramas, mind you the lads in front of him did well to protect him, a thoroughly professional if unspectacular team performance, well done all,so pleased for the manager for getting it right

Liverpool Adrian keeper made a couple of howlers yesterday, in the Premier League, one resulting in a goal.
Under no circumstances should we ever sign him
Heaton gave away a penalty, don't want him either.

Football is a cruel, heart wrenching sport that cares not for any empathy from anyone but the vitreol written about any player or manager on this site is totally out of order. Conrad did a fine job yesterday with Nathan Thomas the ex Stag player firing in a salvo of low, well struck goal bound shots. At a time of 0-0 Conrad did his job, it was also very windy and I don't remember any mistakes. As was mentioned mistakes by goalkeepers are seen every week at every level. This does mot justify the scribblings of nastiness, to soothe the pain of losing.

Yes well done Conrad. I won’t lie, i do worry still about certain aspects of your keeping, but shot stopping, bravery and heart I don’t. A decent bloke too. I think at times during the heat of battle we can all forget the good stuff you do. Not a bad custodian for league two. COYS.

Give him some love Tuesday, whatever opinion some of us have over him as a goalkeeper we need to stick together and make Field Mill a tough place to play for the opposition not our own

The goalkeeper is the loneliest position on the pitch. You are the last line of defence. When the midfield can't deal with the pressure and the defence can't deal with the pressure, it's up to the goalkeeper to deal with it. The defence can make a mistake and the keeper or poor passing/shooting from the opposition can save them. The keeper makes a mistake then it's more likely to concede a goal.
Unfortunately when the attackers are doing their job but the defence isn't its easy to pick fault woth the last line of defence, even when there's a 1 or more gaffes in the lead up to getting to the last line of defence.
Or maybe, just maybe, the opposition were better than us in that instance.
For example, for our first goal yesterday Carlisle afforded us far too much space. They thought we would shoot and looked to block a shot so we passed it around the edge of their area and found the opening and took it. For our second they lost concentration after the drop ball incident (we know why it was correctly given but with it being a new rule, many were confused by it in live play) and we were able to capitalise on that.

Well said, t'is how it should be. However there are some that'll be waiting for Con to not chuck the ball out the millisecond he recieves it before starting to spout their bilge at him.

Good comments. Picking out one player for abuse when the whole team is playing poor is nothing short of bullying. We need to back the 11 players on the pitch, it's the only way Field Mill will ever be feared again
