Agree completely. Mellis, Bishop, and Khan behind the strikers is a nice balance i reckon.

There’s no way Dempster will pick Mellis and Khan in anmidfield 3 away at Newport.

Discussed this the other day with people and at Newport away fair enough I suppose, but for most of the season it’s not what we need (Bishop, macca), particularly at home. Macca gives the ball away far too much

And I'd hope he wouldn't pick Macca either, another diminutive player against the hoof merchants

4-2 after changes in midfield
Khan and Rose
More pace and more creativity in the team second half

Are we playing 442 second half? We seem to play much better with 442 than 352

No mate I think he's a big part of our problem. Evans team lacked that bit of nous with him in there and when he came back at back end of last season we faltered, coincidence?
Not a winger and not a midfielder imo, lacks vision and keeping possession but as we've had no quality for years a lot of fans are happy with headless chicken mediocrity, just an opinion of course.

141 Rangers fan - a bit lower than the 100,000 some stags fans predicted!

May seem harsh but I can’t disagree. I think Macca has a place in the squad, but better off coming on to try and close a game down, or in a scrappy game. If we need quality he’s not the guy.

I think if Rangers weren’t playing Derby tomorrow we would have seen at least 1,000.
Tbf they’ve made more noise than some L2 clubs. Let’s hope for a game at Ibrox next season

Completely agree. Plain to see for anyone that’s been watching today and the back end of last season. Macca can play a role in this squad but he should not be starting over the likes of Khan, and he simply cannot be starting in a midfield with Bishop.

Second manager on the trot that have blindly followed Evans decision to play Macca centrally, he is not a CM in any shape or form.
I doubt Dempster would play him in a new role for the first time ever for the most important game of the season mind, still reeling from that ridiculous decision at MK.

I’ve never been Macca’s biggest fan but cut the lad a bit of slack, fgs it’s pre season.

I suspect that he has had more game time due to Tomlinson's injury. I would put him behind Bish, Tomlinson, Khan, Mellis and presume Gordon and Donahue but he remains a very important squad member.

I never understand why certain sections of our fans are up Rangers arśe. Or Celtic for that matter.
It's a good link for the club to forge though, but I couldn't care less about the Scottish Premiership, the same way I couldn't care less about the Welsh, Irish, French, Dutch leagues etc.
