It's so bad.

Thank you. The reason I do not have ifolow is because of nights like tonight. You yourself have commented above on the poor service.

It's almost like the audio lags until video catches up then the video lags until audio catches up.
During the Pearce goal. The audio lagged and video lagged then the video almost shot forward in time and froze there, then the audio caught up and streamed his celebration fine.

The cameraman is doing my head in. Why linger on a player when the ball is still in play?

I missed all of that including the celebration. Thought it was 1-0 till I heard commentary about someone being at fault for the Pierce goal . Logged off .

Last season I watched the Tuesday night games at Morecambe and Crewe via this service with no problems. The standard of this tonight was extremely poor, with various errors in both halves. Hopefully it will improve for the other 2 friendlies. If it hadn't have been provided free as part of the subscription, you would have asked for your money back.

Apologies for the quality of the live match video this evening. Mark and Dan tested the quality of video, provided via the internet connection at the ground, thoroughly on Monday. It was of sufficient quality then. However this evening the speed of the internet wasn't fast enough some of the time during the game hence some buffering, freezing and lagging. They will try to ensure that the connection is better for Saturday. Please bear in mind that no other club in League Two has attempted this according to Mark, and Championship club Blackburn did not attempt it. We could have just gone with commentary but wanted to try to bring something better to subscribers and included it at no extra cost.

I for one appreciate all the efforts made Martin, BUT please tell the cameraman to stay with play I don't need to see the Q block singers

to clarify that league matches (such as the Morecambe and Crewe games you mention) are streamed by hard wire back to the studio (a line shared with Sky etc). Hence the picture quality is perfect providing a user has a good internet connection, and will continue to be this season. We have no access to that for pre-season games, so it has to be streamed via wifi basically.

I assume on Monday when you tried it, there was no one near by using WiFi, but on match day you had another 1000 folk in the stadium on their phones using the WiFi in the vicinity of the ground.
No wonder it didn’t work.

Well you are missing out because for league games the coverage is spot on. Normally they cost £10, last night was "free" (with the standard subscription). Last night was done by the club just for the PSF so a different set up completely.

I know, it’s the 4G capacity that is the problem.
Have you tried getting a web page to load when there is a crowd of a couple of thousand at the Mill. It can take ages.

No. We need to be physically connected to the camera to attempt live video with commentary in preseason.
Once the season starts, all will be back to normal, with near perfect quality, certainly for home games, and for away games when facilities provided by the home club permit.
