A beautiful warm and sunny bank holiday beckons where we could all have been heading to London for beer in Covent Garden, ladies in paddling pools in Soho and football at the National Stadium. But alas the footballing Gods said no.
As the season has ended be spending the day gardening which is no where near as good a day! I hope someone else has a better day?

On the plus side the money saved not going to Wembley has gone towards my season ticket.
On a positive note “onwards and upwards next season”

The money saved not going Wembley got tickets to Stiff Little Fingers in Sheffield tomorrow + new pots & hanging baskets to the garden & shed loads of bedding plants.
Looks like the hanging gardens of Babylon round our way.
Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored.

The money I've saved has paid for BSB at Donington tomorrow and probably a couple of other meetings n all. Really don't care a monkeys who wins, both will find it tough up in Lge 1

Got up this morning and thought does it really matter that we are not a Wembley today.
My next thought was YES it matters a lot!

Failcroft would have probably started Macca in net for this game.

Back to back promotions... what a dream for them. Tranmere, Bristol Rovers and Lincoln all been down in the conference in the last 5 years and made the 2 jumps up to league 1 - must drive Radford mad!
Probably the best result though today as I would have expected Tranmere to be stronger than Newport next season.
