Good luck for the future, Flicker.

Not naive in the slightest. After the mess that was Evans he progressed us in our style of football, dressing-room atmosphere, general pleasantness as a club and bridged the gap between players and fans which was damaged by the previous regime. He started badly, but recovered really well, before tailing off. The stick he got was harsh and, as mentioned above, he was a likeable bloke who put in a lot of hard work. Just listen to Demps paying homage to him in the first breath of his interview. He talks about how supportive Flicker was of the other staff members and academy team. Give the bloke some credit and put away your knives for 2 minutes. Some of you have got what you want and of course we will support Demps all the way, but dish out the credit where it's due, just as you do with the criticism.

"Tailing off" there's the understatement of the season

How is it? We missed out by a goal in the last game of the season and by 1 place. Anything more than 'tailing off' would be an exaggeration.
