I get starting over is back to square one . But this is second time mr F has clocked up . For me I’d get rid 3 games to secure promotion and a play off semi final ! For me it’s bye bye but I’ll trust Radford and be back next season again

Stick, an excellent coach, needs to up his tactical game. Perhaps some form of experienced head beside him?

Twist for me but if Radfords decides to stick, I will back DF and want him to succeed as he seems like a decent bloke.

an excellent coach who needs better tactics and someone to tell him how to do it? that's not convincing at all.

He can’t motivate, bury and Swindon fans have mentioned that, and it’s pretty much the case here. That’s a big concern.

Stick. JR is a loyal employer who will give DF another year to put things right.

You can’t be an excellent coach but need to be better tactically guys. That makes him a maybe a good coach. An excellent coach would have us promoted this season.

i like to think of a coach and a manager two different roles to be honest. Getting the best out of the players is a coaching role, getting the best out of a tactical game is a managerial role - just my opinion of course.

He's done an average job IMO, no better than I expected giving the squad/budget. There's no doubt in my mind that there are managers out there who could've got more out of our squad, but there also those who could've done a lot worse. I'm indifferent as to whether he stays or not, I'll leave it up to the chairman.

Stick but no excuses next season. Deliver promotion or it's time we try someone else.

I expect JR to stick and will support whoever is in charge.
However I would personally twist.
The knifes where out at the end of last season given how it panned out 12 points from 12 games left us outside of the play-offs. This season thats increased to 15 points. The only difference between this season and last season is that teams kept winning last season so made the fall look far more dramatic.
Given our form over the last 12 had teams like Carlisle, Exeter Colchester continued on runs we could have easily finished outside play-offs again.
The squad now needs a major overhaul which is undoubtedly going to cost alot of money. If I was JR would I trust DF to invest and gain promotion next season then the answer is no. This is why I would personally start again including the manager.

Too many doubters now and I'm not convinced he can get us promoted based on what I have seen this season, needing just a win against Stevenage at home and then only a draw at MKD and failing on both counts, not sure that is excusable.
Darrell Clarke would have been a good replacement but we've missed out on him.

but Jamie what happens if we just miss out again? the only side to that argument is cost saving as JR could just not offer DF and team a new contract.

If we’re talking Flitcroft here then we need to stick. He’s got us so close this year and has early another go, with a few of Evan’s flops off the wage bill we should be in a better position next season. It’s just a shame it couldn’t be this one

We have to give him till Christmas but my worries are if we don’t hit the ground running, the knives will be out straight away, which will not help the squad.
I also question if he has the mental will power to see the job done? Does he have different motivational techniques?
His interviews are very one dimensional but I blame that partly on the person interviewing him?
I don’t think he has had one difficult question put to him all season.
I want to hear some passion, some fight and some god damn emotion but it’s not there.
Saying all that, the way we played up until was magical post Christmas was back to the days of Paul Cox.
Stick
