It needs shutting, and the police at the entrance to the retail park because that is where the issues are. I'm sorry but for all the folk on this thread, who basically want to go about their lawful business walking home after the game, because of a few and it is quite a few mind, you can't , you'll have to deal with walking a bit further which in my case isn't a bad thing.
We have few enough police to deal with everyday crime, taking a lot of them away to deal with gangs of folk bent on trouble is a crime in itself.
