I have ordered the game tonight on a match pass but does anyone know if or how I can watch it on a smart TV instead of an I pad ??
Any help would be appreciated as I am a techno novice. Cheers in advance

I use an Apple TV box linked to my smart TV and then sent by Air Play from iPad, iPhone or laptop through the Apple Box to the Smart TV. Hope that helps.

Don't know about Apple, but on a Samsung tablet there's Smart View which gives a simple one-touch connection to a modern TV.

Thanks. I thought as much. I'm useless.
I was hoping I could just go on the internet on the TV and miraculously it would appear ha ha. Cheers anyway. Tess.

I don't have a smart TV but does it have a Web browser on it? If so could you not log n using that and watch it from there?

Allegedly you can, but in reality you cant because the service is awful.
I don't bother with this anymore because it doesn't work properly.
You've got to go there and come back, to know where you've been.

I don't think that works.
I have connected my laptop to tv via an HDMI lead and that works well.

I've tried the browser route before, and it didn't work. Surely a cable is unnecessary? From a tablet it's a simple task to connect via the wifi using standard facilities. Maybe a laptop is less capable.

Can confirm it doesn't work without a cable. Doesn't let smart TVs get the service even when you've already bought the game, due to hidden IP addresses or something. Got in a right argument about it and they wouldn't refund me.
If they can tell you've got a hidden IP address to not let you watch the match, then surely they can tell if you've got a hidden IP address when you get to the payment screen, however , they gladly accept payment in the knowledge that they won't let you watch the game. Total Shysters.
You've got to go there and come back, to know where you've been.

I have Apple TV connected to my Smart TV but when I try to play videos through it from my iPhone on the iFollow app it just goes black. The sound comes on but nothing else. That is using screen mirroring. Can anyone confirm if it does work through Apple TV??

I seem to be stuck at the My Information page on my ipad. Any clues on how to advance to the buy ticket stage?

Not sure if this helps, but I had to use a PC to buy the match pass after signing in to my account. Then as the app is also signed in it should know that I have the pass. I couldn't see a match pass on the app itself. Good design? No.

Yes it will work on the Apple 6 plus. It’s better to buy it from the official website under iFollow than try and get it from the app.

I’m using an iPad to watch it, download the Mansfield Town app (if you’ve not already got it) and go through it that way.
