Seen at the Wonk today, apparently.
Possibly recalled to the squad for Crawley?

Perfectly normal for players out on loan to still come in to their parent clubs for various reasons

Depending on Preston, he should play ahead of Turner.
You've got to go there and come back, to know where you've been.

Mirfin is a proper centre half - hard as nails not Flicrofts cup of tea. That's why we are a soft touch and getting turned over regularly by teams who want to scrap & battle.

He's also been out for over 12 months and now playing in the Conference North.

Agree on Mirfin, Atkinson is good enough as a backup and experience.

Yes Atkinson showed it Saturday, never got up n down the line, gifted them a back pass and was generally all round average, which is not good enough

All round average was good on Saturday but don't let facts spoil your view on Atkinson
Mal and Bish were both guilty of giving the ball away at critical times. CJ Mellis and Grant were well below average. And so was KP
V unfair to single out Will

But all those you mentioned have had good games and held down a first team spot (although Grant needs dropping)
Atkinson is back up/last resort and isn't good enough for a promotion push, if opinions vary so be it.

Not technically as his goal wasn't the decider, it helped us along though

His goal was the one that put us in front and had the opposition pushing up and allowing Macca to break and score. So yes I think it was the winner.

Exactly. Had he not scored against the run of play which totally shifted the momentum of Cheltenham coming from 2 behind.

that's not what I am saying. He isn't a first-teamer, we all know that.
but he isn't as rubbish as people make out.
We cannot have a squad full of first-teamers unless you are a team with more money than sense.
Squad players like Will are vital to any team down the pyramid. Don't moan about not getting starts but come on and put the effort in when required. Could have Anderson instead if you like?

I think Atkinson is a steady player. Deffo not a first teamer but has a lot of experience and really isn't as bad as some make out.

Ok we'll agree to disagree. Flatters has to take some blame, given money to bring in a good replacement for White and we still end up with steady Eddie, bet Andrade can't wait for Monday night.

Which goal was the winner then?
If the fourth hadn't gone in we would still have won.

The winner is the deciding goal in a game, ie if a game is won by the odd goal 1-0 2-1 3-2 4-3 etc. A 4-2 win and neither Atko's or Macca's goals can be described as the 'winner'. They both helped us to the win nothing more. If Atko had scored and it stayed at 3-2 then quite rightly it would've been the winner.
How hard can it be
