I watch it all the time. Charlie Mac loves the Stags. We’re doing well hence the love. The other two teams though......

He told me two years ago he’d finish his career at stags, on a night out in Mansfield! Will that happen?

I thought Jake was really good on Team Talk, very refreshing and he clearly loves the club and was upset we went down. He mentioned that literally some of the players were virtually running the club with no training kit sometimes and nowhere to train and Haslam absolutely nowhere to be seen. Crazy how far we’ve come since then. Hope he does come back at some point.

Would love to see him back here. A ready made club captain. Only problem is I'm not sure he'd get into our defence a present

Seems a few of the local lads would like to finish their career here. I was speaking to James Perch at the scunny games and said ''i might sign for you guys in a couple of years''
In a couple of years i would hope we can do better then an 35 year old Perch/Buxton.

It was just great seeing how much he loves the club, and how far we’ve come in the decade or so.

Its a good show but the presenter interrupting all the time for ad breaks is so amateurish, its cringe.

Too true bud, we are better than that now, we aren't a club willing to give some last payday merchants (Bish is a machine and just not normal) a contract to just go through the motions.

No. Buxton shouldn’t look on us as something on the way down to top up his retirement pot.
Short memories. He was captain when we went down and just walked away.

Have you watched it? I don’t think he views it like that and in the circumstances with Haslam I couldn’t blame him.

I don’t care how he views it. He captained us into the Conferemce then walked.

Buxton also said that in the relegation season from the league , they went on a run of wining games away but struggled at home due to the fans being on their back ?! As far as I remember we were fully behind the team in home games !

He did say that, but said the youth in the team couldn’t handle it, hence the better away form. For me the factors that made him move away were far greater than that of staying. Namely HASLAM.

A very one dimensional view of it Belly, but it’s your opinion.

If I remember it right he gave a few penalties away and got sent off a couple of times that season also.
