Cheap bus travel?
Has this been confirmed against the other stats supporters groups?

No worries, just looking at Salford away, how much was it with the SSA for a junior member?

SSA is certainly not cheap bus travel, it's probably the most expensive supporters group to travel with. Although I understand they give a lot back to the club so it's all good. Its not my kind of bus/crowd to travel with so it doesn't bother me how much they charge.

An amber member of the SSA pay £4 a month and are being charged £15 to Bradford.

I pay £5 a year for membership to Shirebrook Stags and I've paid £12 to Bradford.

I believe Salford coaches are organised and subsidised by the club, your research is already flawed. Do Salford supporters club run coaches? I can't find any prices I'm afraid.

How much was your coach to Forest Green, Wimbledon or Newport? You see games like Bradford help subsidise games like FGR where SSA lose money. they could easily pick 10 localish Sat away games a season and charge less, but try it for 28 games.

I was on the understanding that groups like the SSA and their like across the league charge relatively more to local games where the masses pay, compared to a capped price for further games where they might not turn a profit.

County charged their fans £15 a pop to the game at ours last month for presumably the same reason.

What fans should also remember is that there will always be a bus, remember sutton in january where they decided not to run a bus due to lack of demand?

Can’t say i know enough about the SSA to know how they operate internally but fans would soon notice if they weren’t there.

How much was it to Braintree, Ebbsfleet,Hereford etc in the non league days. I’d imagine little as you didn’t have a bus.

The SSA did, and will continue to if that nightmare ever happened again.

Fans berating the SSA made up of great people who give up there time for free should give there head a shake.

Not once have I berated the SSA, I said they're not the cheapest to travel with. I also said they provide a lot of good to the club through membership money, from recent memory they paid for the tunnel and the canopy outside the Sandy Pate but I know there is a lot more they've paid for.

No I didn't travel on Shirebrook buses in the non league days, I got trains and went in cars to the likes of Gateshead, Hereford and Ebbsfleet.

No you just pointed out that your membership and travel was cheaper in a show of support.

You also made my point in your own travel arrangements, I wasn’t questioning your individual support, just saying that the SSA will always be running busses if the average crowd is 8000’or 1500.

I’ve run busses far cheaper than the SSA and Shirebrook, nowhere near as regularly as either of two excellent organisiations, but never once have I felt the need to come on here and declare how much cheaper we were, often because Shirl got lost to be fair.

Do you have to be a SSA member to submit a question?
Those accustomed to privilege may feel that equality is oppression.

Ahhh, The Railway away days... great times at crap grounds. Some great stop offs on the way back, Ashby-De-La-Zouch especially.

Can anyone fill in the blanks from this legendary Railway Bus song that highlighted Sharps stance on racial harmony?

There's no ****** on the Railway bus do-dah, do-dah
There's no ****** on the Railway bus do-dah, do-dah dayyy
Sharp's a ****** **** Sharp's a ****** ****

My question would be.

Out of all the teams you have managed , what would be your favourite 11 payers to start up in a game for you.

Be interesting to see who :)

Doing some research for my question I came across this.

Out of our entire squad who can name the only 2 players under the age of 30 to have played more than 100 League 1 appearances.

No google...

Any guesses?
