first 3 games of April all at home (Accy, Crawley and FGR), those are the games we'll clinch it from.

Feet on the ground please, you have heard about the Mansfield Town way of doing things haven't you?
I backed my car into a cop car the other day, he just drove off, sometimes life's okay...

Totally agree and I say it every year it’s about how we perform from now until the end of the season. If someone else goes on a run we can’t help it, just got to look after what we can one game at a time

Oh definitely, been here many times. This time, and this season generally, just feels different. We seem to have the ruthlessness that we've seen so many other teams have over the years. So many bogey teams put to bed this season and hoodoos overturned. But then again... ha ha!

For me the draws in games we might have otherwise have lost last season is the biggest difference and a large part of that is down the our vast defensive improvement. We’ve won the same number of games as MK Dons but have 5 more draws than them. I can count 5 draws this season that we would have lost last season. It’s the difference between fighting it out in the Top 3 or fighting to get into the Top 3.

The four games we lost were one goal defeats.
If truth be told we should have had drawn three of those too. Swindon last minute winner after Flinty was sent up front.
Wombles away last minute winner again playing against 12 men.
Then Walsall where we had a good goal not given.
Could have 66 points now, 3 clear with a game in hand

A sign of a very good team is also in our very few defeats, we haven’t been thumped…I’m sure it’s only been by the odd goal, and in most cases unlucky to lose!

Only three not five spring to mind were we were lucky to draw and that were Colchester and Gillingham away and AFC Wimbledon at home. Perhaps Tranmere and Doncaster at home as well but that is pushing it. Is that the five you were thinking about?

You could argue that those last 2 defeats could easily be wins. Had the penalty been given at AFC we would most likely have won the game. The Walsall one a bit more of a stretch, but going in 1-0 up at half time could have completely changed their team talk and the way they approached the 2nd half.
A 4-6 point lead with a game in hand and a GD advantage would have been very nice at this stage of the season !!
