But the question around us was whether the ref gave it, or was it the 4th official. Ref seemed to have his head down and turning away, then all of a sudden picked his head up and gave the card.

Managers have to pretend to be hard done by to protect themselves by deflecting the blame for their loss onto others, then they have an excuse against any wrath incurred from their board/chairman or fans that would follow

But he had nothing good to say about us, but more or less blamed our dirty cheating play and the ref for their defeat.

Could Robinson be in trouble for criticising the ref in that interview?
“The referee misses the tackle, as you’d expect!”

Sure Clough got into trouble for similar

Good post. Exactly what I was thinking. Surely Gary Neville will “See through “ his excuses.
Robinson didn’t give us an ounce of credit.

Still co-owner but hasn't been CEO or involved day-to-day for over a year now.

The moaning about the injury to Luamba. Just before our corner which eventually led to his goal, he came over to the touchline, Robinson asked him if he was ok, he shook his head, he then called back a sub to get changed. He then went and scored and he stayed on till half time.

Robinson can’t moan about him being injured when he was the chances to sub him ten minutes before he did.

If the ref had protected Akins from the persistent holding that was happening throughout the first half it would probably have not got to that situation with a sending off in the second - he lets it go until that point

Absolutely no class from Robinson. Proper merchant banker.

I struggle with Williams and Lewis (especially now he has a new hair colour). Evan worse when Nichols is playing. :D

For me, Robinson will always be associated with managing Cuckoo F.C. I can see now that him and the Franchise were a match made in heaven……sore loser.

What an odious excuse for a manager, should have stuck with Franchise FC, they are meant to be together.
