I bought my ticket on Saturday mid day and the ticket office lady said you have sold out the 2k days ago and we have allocated the additional blocks in the EE stand so can't see why it's not well over 2k officially Martin. Good accounting lol

Think Flint was done by the smartness of Matt for the first goal. From a vlog I watched, you can see Matt just pulls the arm of Flint before the ball comes in to allow him to sneak around the back.

I would almost certainly say the low figure is because they only had two turnstiles for the whole of the away end so hundreds including myself were shepherded through a gap in temporary fencing barriers with a guy tearing off ticket stubs and so obviously no turnstiles to "click" your attendance.

If they counted the crowd the Mansfield way on ticket sales, the number would have been over 2,000.
When I heard 1,600 I thought it was way too low. I did think we were a bit quiet on Saturday though.
Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored.

Apparently fourth behind Wrexham, Stockport and Notts County
Those accustomed to privilege may feel that equality is oppression.

Yes that's it.
It reminded me of one Akins did last season.

Impressive when taken as a percentage of home gate

Makes it more surprising that Stockport only brought 969 to The Mill on a Saturday afternoon in August.

Our average will probably go up before the end of the season though with us still going to Wrexham (1200 ish), Bradford (2500 ish) and MK Dons which could see us take 4000+ if promotion is on the cards.

I have added this to the report:
Average away following (league games): 1,147 (more than 900 in 10 of 17 away league games)

it's an underestimate, but the official figure from Walsall was given as 1637 and I'm using that, as I've explained.
