Not at all surprised by that.

He’s obviously passionate and must have been livid following that disgraceful display by the officials. I’m just pleased he didn’t go too far on the pitch.

But heaven forbid the truth of his words should have any impact on the incompetence of the referee.

People lose jobs, money and livelihoods because of performances like we have witnessed from the officials over our last two matches

Cheats never prosper, but they do get their crimes airbrushed out by the FA.
Facts do not cease to exist because they are ignored.

So, will the FA make public what action, if any, has been taken towards the Official(s)

Do we think IF he gets a ban, he will be banned for Saturday? Or does it take a while to sort these things.

In his interview Nigel mentioned the assessors were happy with the refs performance.

Says it all.

The old codgers at the EFL don't like their Refs criticised, the guy was beyond a joke and beyond inept.

Did we get the apology letter about the blatant penalty?

Thought not when they obviously have more important issues to deal with, like covering up for cheats.

Most of the problems with refs are that they dont explain, or are not allowed to explain their decisions - if a ref could come out after a match and say 'yeah I made that decision because at the time I thought this had happened' or 'I'm sorry but looking back I made a genuine mistake given the information I had at the time' then they'd get far more respect. Reffing is a thankless task, but also a very difficult job to be able to do having to make decisions immediately with maybe worse views than some of the crowd - and we all make mistakes - most of us would have a lot more sympathy for them if they were allowed to come out and explain why they made the decisions they did. I'm sure some of them wish they could do, but are prevented to by the powers that be.

I just hope that he uses moderate language when addressing the FA officials - and tells them that if the don't like hearing the truth about blatantly incompetent officials then they can stick their heads up their bottoms.

FA showing their true colours here let's be honest. They had issues with his dad, and they've had issues with Clough most of his career.
Could have apologised for the penalty, they haven't. Could have apologised for the inconsistency of the red card decisions V Sutton and Wimbledon, they haven't. Could have reprimanded the 4th official and made clear what standards are expected of officials, they haven't. Could have even gone (deservedly) harsh on Garner for his head loss. But no, let's take the opportunity to punish Clough. I've no idea what he has or hasn't said outside the changing room, but every time he takes a shot at a referee in an interview we seem to receive some form of punishment.
Remember him saying he wouldn't appeal Clarke's red card V Harrogate because he doesn't trust the appeal process and 3 days later Quinn had his ban extended to 6 games (a punishment usually reserved for racist abuse).

The FA are more interested in non football related political non sense that has no place near football than actually dealing with football maters.

I thought his comments on that were spot on that the Ref has many masters and the only one they want to please is the assessor. Basically the two managers, the players and the commenatators were critical of him but none of that matters because the assessor was happy

Nigel knew it was coming the FA have to back there officials, even though the Wimbledon media expected the penalty to be given.
This is what opinions are about the ref said no penalty and his opinion counts.
Counteracting a refs decision could open up a real can of worms, two big decisions changed the game, and the forth official can have another cheeky grin

Don’t think Nigel is worried one iota about that
He needed to make his point and is normally a very respectful cool guy but passion in the game sometimes gets the better of everyone

As a matter of interest (well, to me at least), I wonder how often Evans and Raynor have been charged with misconduct.

Probably never. Because they're snidy, deceitful sneeks that know exactly how to play the system.
Which just shows how absurd the system is.

Well Evans has had a suspended prison sentence, does that count

Yes he's been charged loads of times, including a 20 month ban from all football.
