I think even though Akins has had some off games maybe, Bowery hasn’t played well enough at all, when I’ve seen him…not the same player from last season, so far. It’s 50/50 for me but I’d give Akins another shot.

I Tip Barrow for 1 Goal :) Super Stags 2 Goals

:mtfc: :coys: :mansfield_till_i_die: :mtfc:

Still a long way to go to beat the seven game winning run

14/02/1976 to 17/04/1976 and 31/08/1991 to 05/11/1991

Yes it is a tough one Pete , but we did the home record last season so why not the away one this season , but it is a big ask :)

I also agree, but I doubt he will switch away from 3 centre backs and I assume Akins will start. That midfield 4 is pretty exceptional!

I wonder when we had a better midfield 4? Must be the ‘05 season, however that ended in failure. I think this midfield has the potential to be better.

I think our midfield of 74/75 was our best (Hodgson, McAffrey, Lathan, Matthews). That season I saw all our home (league) games and of course never saw us lose. I also went to Rotherham and Donny away and we lost both! The Donkey Rovers away game was a present for my 7th birthday, it was my first ever away game, we lost 4-3 I think, but really should have slaughtered them. I'll never forget the Scunny home game, Champions!

That Donny game, Rod Arnold was playing with concussion after an early head knock in first half, no wonder he let four in.

James Gale deserves a start. Jason Law also. I would settle for any of these 2 instead of Akins.

On a fine crisp autumnal day it will be a two nil win after a hard fought game.

Think it's a bit too soon to be starting Boateng. Especially with the midfield already playing so well together.

Ease him back in. Ideally 30 minutes today. No need to rush him back.

Feel like Swans missed as many squads as he’s made! He’s injured quite a lot
