looks like it's been blitzed for a car park and another pitch for our feeder club (formerly known as Chesterfield FC)

La Bombonera, a great ground. What’s really impressive is the neighbourhood around it, it’s almost totally yellow and blue. You know who’s territory you’re in as soon as you’re in the neighbourhood

Have we sold the training ground to finance the redevelopment?

Is the gate to the north stand still welded shut.

Season ticket cards don’t scan, and it takes 2 days for 70% to get in. 70% watch re runs on big screens

Stags fans believe that this could finally be their year if they could get their hands on that elusive 20 goals a season striker.

The Bishop Street stand is a huge 200ft holographic wall full of adverts for Wass’ Funeral Directors and Bapp’s Bolts. It was supposed to show virtual fans but they couldn’t get in on time due to having the wrong kind of electricity.

Maybe Wass' could do virtual gravestones for the folk who died from starvation whilst queuing for a pie.

Or those that died of food poisoning after having eaten one. Does anybody know what the pie situation is now? I think we had 3/4 different suppliers last season and the quality varied wildly. I've not even bothered this season as I can't afford to waste a fiver queueing for 20 minutes for near guaranteed disappointment.

This is what JR said in The Stag Magazine:

"When we are promoted to League 1 we will reward ourselves by renovating the Bishop Street Stand. We would look to build a terracing stand for 1,500-2,000 supporters similar to Salford or Harrogate."

As has been already said by others, why wait? We’d be losing out on revenue.

There's plenty of time for Evans v Flitcroft to make a comeback (did it ever go away?) with Evans doing really well at Stevenage.

The Bishop St argument was there long before anyone had even heard of Flitcroft or Evans. :D
I remember criticising that stand in the 1970's! It is extraordinary to think that it is still sitting there derelict in this day and age - more than 20 years after the stadium was redeveloped.

There's still room for the Stags need a new club crest argument too.

There's more chance of the away end selling out for Bradford City, Walsall?, Grimsby Town, Doncaster Rovers, Northampton Town?

Very disappointed with Stockport County.
