Same as Stone, Charsley and Benning, but all those 4 will be playing in League 1 this season, who’s had the last laugh now.

2 out of the 4 could not hold down a regular start in League 2 this season , they got in to the side late on in the season and were not first choice , Doubt very much that they will be playing in league 1 next season .

I understand Stone was only released because his contract was up and Bishop was incoming, had it been Stech who was out of contract he would have gone and Stone stayed.

Benning wanted to go because he wasn't playing enough, would you have dropped Macca for Sir Mal, close call but it is no from me.

Charsley, was only a bit part player from day one, he improved and scored a few good goals, only a sub at Port Vale, rarely starting.

O'Keefe, bit of a mystery but I never saw him play outstandingly, ok going forward, poor defensively.

Waters is a good signing for them, was very good for them any time I watched them on BT last season.

Wonder how theyll get on next season, can see them starting well like Hartlepool and then fade away although they'll be chucking loads of money at it like you say... ridiculous if he's on championship money. Easy way to get lazy players on big money who are then hard to shift.
