Owen Mason is obviously rated and has had teams like Forest show interest in him.
James Gale is only 20 and probably could have done with being at a team not at the bottom of the table. At his age Rhys Oates was on loan at the same level- Conference North- with Gainsborough Trinity and Stockport. From the games I saw of Gale earlier in the season he looks ok. He is tall, quite fast, with a good touch. He didn’t sign for us until September so with a good pre season Clough will be able to see what progress he has made and then decide what role he has to play at Mansfield. Even if he goes out on loan again that doesn’t mean he is no good.
