Sinclair really has to up his game when he gets on, or he will be another that does not realise his potential.

Big result because it shows that Hawkins and Oates are our first choice strikers

Great win.

Broke the 'london hoodoo' even though we drew Vs Orient and beat Stevenage which isn't London but is as much London as Crawley is. ;)

This team and the performance was much improved than on Tuesday.

Well done the traveling fans.

He needs a goal of any kind doesn't he. He should have scored that chance and he should have scored against Sutton to make it 1-1.

He needs to somehow relax and not be so tense Infront of goal.

Oates and Hawkins showing real quality today.
O'Toole shows what a, good signing he was.

Would be very interested in what those who watched made of Forrester

He looked good. Dealt really well with Crawley. Hard to properly judge after his 1st 90 minutes and against a side that didn't shoot on goal once n the opening 45 (you could argue that the defence is the reason why that was)

Put it this way. I can't see any reason why he shouldn't start against Donny (bar the obvious like injuries)

I can’t believe the play offs are actually even a possibility from where we were 4 weeks ago. Amazing turn around from everyone. Brilliant. COYS!!!

Massive pat on the back to Nigel Clough here, risky but genius to change formation, it gave us good possession and we looked creative on the ball while being solid at the back.

The wind played a big part in the game today, we had it for us in the first half and I was slightly worried we didn’t get a second, Oates had a great chance in the first half but tried to come back inside on his stronger left foot. Shout out to Ryan Stirk who was brilliant in the first half especially.

2nd half was always going to be tough, their goal was a worldy and came out of nowhere, we reacted well to this goal though, Hawkins and Oates is going to be a right partnership, Oates has found himself at this level, he’s worked out that if he closes down and runs in behind he will get success, Hawkins held the ball up well, his ball for the goal was brilliant although if i am honest I thought the keeper should of got there first, he didn’t, great finish.

Tyrese should of wrapped the game up, as you can probably tell I am a big fan of his but can’t defend his finishing at the moment, it’s been poor and he seems to be “trying to hard”

Great result, Clever from Clough, wonder if he will stick to this formation in the FA cup?

Almost as if the season was finished to some.. forgetting about how many points are still to play for.

After the port vale performance this run was always going to happen when players came back.

I praise NC for the change in formation......but this squad has always been set up to play a back 3 with wingbacks.
Coughlan built his (mostly this) squad around that formation and the signings NC has made does not see any better suited formation.
The Diamond leaves our full backs (Hewitt aside, they are not really defenders) wide open.
451 leaves the frontman exposed and we have no real threat out wide without Gordon.
532, 352 or 3412 however you want to write it is the best way forward for this squad with the players we currently have.

Again...well done NC and a great 3 points !!

I'd say finally playing your best available players in their best positions that fit the formation paid off today, wouldn't you?

The only players "out of position" were dependable experience pros which is fine by me. I though Hewitt did OK at RWB but looked unsure at time whether he should be going forwards or staying back sometimes but nearly always recovered defensively. Attacking wise he put a couple of good crosses in but that shot was a typical "defender shot". If we are going forwards with a back 3 (only been banging on about how it'll suit us better for nearly a year) then we need gordan at right wing back. Hewitt my wnd choice. If Hewitt is need in the back 3 then he can definitely do a job at right centre back which covers right back, in my opinion of course.

We have 2 strikers up front, 3 midfielders in midfield and 3/5 defenders in defence. Recently people have said that we are nothing without Quinn, well looks like we aren't. We scored a goal, and continued creating after he went off. Largely due to every knowing their roles naturally and we looked more fluid because of it.

A thoroughly enjoyable game with some food football on display. Yes a few balls went wayward but that comes with the territory when changing shape.
