Possibly media staff were on AL?

Martin will know.

Hewitt and Macca both back though I think, were close last week weren't they? Forrester still not played any minutes at all , but if they didn't want to play him Thursday then maybe he will finally get some time today

I don't think the game will be in any danger with the massively improved drainage this season and all the hard work and investment that went in to the pitch over the summer.

Midfield is back to full strength, and a full set of option available up top. Time for us to stop the excuses now and start getting results. Big game.

Will be very interested to see how we line up today going forwards - it will say an awful lot for me.

yes on the media staff. And Ryan recently left and his replacement is not yet fully up to speed

Hopefully Hewitt and McLaughlin back. But McLaughlin is carrying this ankle injury (he tore a ligament) and then because he was trying to compensate for that he ended up making his hamstring sore. So he is not going to be 100% for a while I would guess, and will have to be managed.

Horrible weather, a thread bare squad, on a terrible run of late for screams that the footballing gods will be favouring the underdogs. Namely, us. It won’t be pretty, the winner may be a sodden scramble but it will be putting a smile back on our faces.

Quite looking forward to the game today and very optimistic. 2-0 to the Stags.

And then the pub after to celebrate. (Old Ram Stag, makes sure Mrs Old Ram gives you some spending money).

Forgot about that. Either way, the first few games of the season has been seen as the standard we need to get back to and Lapslie wasn’t in the side. Our options appear to be good today, there will always be a couple out.

Favourites???? Coral, William Hill etc must be using former MP David Blunkett as a consultant.

Tranmere’s away form is worse than our home form, and their underlying numbers are only slightly better than ours and the bookies are hot on those kind of things.

Bishop.
Clarke. Hewitt. Rawson. Macca.
Oclarke. Marriss. Quinn.
Sinclair. Hawkins. Oates.

3-0 the stags might be 4-0 if Johnson comes on without the pressure.

Hasn't rained since 11am. Suns out so pitch should be fine.

Make or break today. If we lose i think Coops will be dusting off his FA Cup play book ready for next week.

Time for the gaffer to admit his diamond is crap and get us playing football.

Can't be fit if he's not on the bench, and with the signing of O'Toole.

This is what you get when you signed people who are injured

Johnson back, time for him to start firing and shake off whatever has been effecting him.

Forrester situation is just a joke, signed two months ago and yet to kick a ball in anger.

Maynard not made the bench today, don't know if he's injured.
Good to see Gordon back on the bench it should free Hawkins to go upfront and move Hewitt to centre half if needed.

Its by no means ideal but Hawkins should be upfront as soon as we can field 2 centre backs

I think this is the best we can put out from who is feasibly available to start.

I can see Hawkins getting up front if we're behind, either via Gordon going right back and hewwit CB or bringing O'Toole on.

I have a good feeling about today.

Stags penalty.

Flicked on header and Oates beats the keeper to it and keeper brought him down.

DJ to take it.

Skies it.
