They’ve clearly wanted to make a high profile example of them, but really it’s just shed light on how ridiculous the rules are and got a lot of people in the media saying just that.

You just follow Englands COVID rules anyway, how no one else in that Scotland squad has to isolate is a joke.

Allegedly ,in the mail it must be true then ,if you read my earlier post i said it was crazy ,but dont start making wild accusations just because of HEALTH ENGLANDS DECISION

It was on his social media, its not allegedly. The whole thing is a joke. How's he caught it anyway? Thought they were meant to be in a bubble.

Ps-Just annoyed Mount will have to miss 2 games by the way.

It's not guaranteed that he will have to miss 2 games.

Very likely though if he cant train with the team until either the day of or day before the game.

As long as he has no symptoms/test positive I don't see why. He's not going to lose any fitness in a week.

Because they will be working on the shape/tactics all week. Gareth is already cautious enough as it is, he wont play a player who hasn't had proper preparation.

Would definitely rule him out in my opinion.

Yep, Gareth Southgate spends a week teaching the finest footballers (theoretically) this nation has on how to go backwards and sidewards.

What a wondrous appointment he was. All the attacking instinct of the French Army or an Italian tank.

I think he might if they are as important as Mount. They don't have another player who can replicate what he gives you.

I don’t think missing a week’s training in this England side makes much difference

Shape none
Tactics pass sideways and backwards as slowly as possible

It’s just like Graham Coughlans football

'Shape none' but we're one of only two sides who haven't conceded yet

You can accuse this England team of many things, but that isn't one of them.

Please don't be a slow-motion car crash again.
You've got to go there and come back, to know where you've been.

Well, 1-0 up but look a shambles when defending.
Have Rice and Phillips touched the ball or broken up any attacks yet, both poor poor players
