Not a great 2nd half performance, Stone made 3 fine saves so was my MoM. Vital 3 points, well done lads, safe now.

A crudely effective win which bodes well for the work done on the training ground. Far fewer back passes and Stone looked assured. Law and Sinclair looked worth their selection and Bowery looks exhausted.
I know there are people just laying into players but this is what our club chose to bring in for this season and they have done enough to meet what was asked of Clough when he was brought in so a good day

Brilliant result.

The performance was exactly what we have seen most of the season, we were pretty solid and hard to break down but hardly ever look like scoring.

The big difference today was that when they
Had their chances they didn’t score.

Sinclair played really well again.

Looking forward to next season now.

Well done Clough, you’ve made us much harder to beat whilst reducing the wage bill and virtually ensuring safety. I honestly think we would be relegated this season under the watch of the previous incumbent. COYS. The summer will be interesting and can’t wait now for next season.
