Indeed, Birdy was my hero as a kid, as he was for most Stags fans my age.

Definitely he is my favourite legend as well as Rod Arnold, Ray Clarke, Terry Austin, Phil Stant, Steve Wilkinson and Chris Greenacre.

Forever immortalised in that legendary Stags side that I was lucky enough to witness as a young lad.. Its heartbreaking.
