I think we have seen that mez can keep a pitch in good condition... I think him being on furlough is probably the reason its so bad this year, cant have been easy
Be interesting to see what he says

Yes but Swansea's pitch was actually dug up immediately after their game yesterday
arsene wengers coat wrote:To use the excuse that we've got one side of the pitch that doesn't see the sun doesn't explain that huge sloppy section near the scoreboard.
There are sun lamps that can be used to help the grass grow and the ground dry out.
Quick question - if the pitch has given up, why can't we play at the training ground if the pitch there is better. There's no fans so what's the difference?

What’s causing the issues in those places ? Seems odd

If we have gone from the number 1 ranked surface to number 24 in less than a year then the only conclusion is we furloughed staff but non of our rivals did in order to maintain theirs??part time pete wrote:MTFCMAD wrote:oh stags wrote:smulls wrote:The awful pitch has definitely affected our home form as Mansfield players are not comfortable to play on. I have heard, but not sure how true, that very little work done on the pitch in the summer as the staff were on furlough.
