Being abused by the Bugbrooke Massiv is it! They must be so proud of themselves. Glad our lads triumphed. :)

And if we beat Burton, then it is Stoke away in Round Three.

Draw is not advanced, we are late playing games partly due to lockdown, but the original date of first round match was scheduled on the last available date sanctioned by FA.

for one or two people asking, I've updated my report with the Bugbrooke team, details of the Stags subs, the referee, and my estimate of the attendance.

I'm still puzzled about why some of the home "fans" behaved like that. It's a youth game. It's not like we have any history with this Northamptonshire team is it? Not a mining area? What was their beef with us? Maybe their social club bar was open and a few of them had had a sniff of the barmaids apron?

I would hope the club would make a complaint or there would be something in the referees report as there should be some kind of action taken. I'm pretty certain we would have faced some sanctions had it been the other way around.

the social club was closed, but there was an outside bar, which did a good trade. It wouldn't have made an difference who the opposition was I don't think.

At the end of the game, the referee tried to get the stewards to disperse the large group next to the tunnel so the Stags players could leave the pitch. The stewards wouldn't ... or couldn't. So after a few minutes, the Stags players tried to get down the tunnel, and various things were thrown at them. I saw at least one player show them to the ref. It was all too ridiculous, and I haven't talked about the lack of social distancing amongst the home fans, which was a whole other story, or the fact that the only people I saw wearing masks at all in a crowd of approx 500 were me, Steve Hymas, James who does the club's website report, Richard Cooper, Jamie McGuire.

And do you know if the ref has reported this to the FA?
