weird but sometimes dropping a keeper after such a bad howler only makes things worse... who knows what he will do but from what ive seen of stone, he's more than capable and could go on to be a top keeper.

The defence have no confidence in the goalgiver, he's woeful. He's been half decent in the past, but like with Clogger, when you lose it sometimes it never comes back.

Must win game. Things need to change from tonight or it’s going to be a long horrible season. Imo the players aren’t fit enough, switching off at crucial times. When you’re physically tired you switch off mentally and that’s the story of the season thus far. We also miss a centre back who can lead, someone that can coach the others during the game. It doesn’t help that the keeper has made errors which puts even more pressure on the defenders. Again just my opinion on what I have seen

Couchlan has the opportunity to play the players who scored or assisted this season in a 4-3-3
So it'd be:

Stone

O'Keeffe(1 assist) Menayese(1 goal) Sweeney Benning

Perch(1 assist) Charsley(2 assists) McLaughlin(1 goal)

Cook (2 goals) Bowery(1 goal) Stech (technically 1 goal, just not for us :P)

I can't see him picking that side for 1 very obvious reason

I think you're tempting fate there mate. Not in the team you've picked but in the "Couchlan" because that's where he'll be sat very soon.

I feel our first win coming tonight. They always come at an unexpected time.

We have to get one at some stage and tonight is that night.

I have the same feeling. Had a dream that we won 3-0 and a Bowery hattrick (it was a perfect hattrick). This was after a zoom call with my mates whose birthday it was so we just sat at our computers having a drink or 20 and a laugh. So could be the whiskey that invented that dream.

I got made redundant last week so I won't be having a bet on it happening. But Bowery is at 100/1 for the hattrick and 70/1 for mansfield 3-0 and Bowery scoring first.

From what I’ve seen of him I’m surprised bowery isn’t a 100/1 to score in the first place

But whatever, a wins a win and we need one urgently.

When were two nil up at orient we were doing alright... the weak link through out the game was Meneyese... he's not goo enough. Bring in O'Driscoll tonight.

We will win tonight, have too.

I disagree Sedgy. I think Rollin has been our best defender out of the back three to date. He likes to attack the ball and wins headers and interceptions and he has plenty of pace. He is also prepared to bring the ball forward and has scored two goals from set pieces. He had another couple of chances on Saturday. He just needs to improve his distribution and blocking crosses. Corey O'Keeffe, Mal Benning and Kellan Gordon are also not good at blocking crosses. Farrend Rawson has been the weak link at the back for me to date. We would have benefited with still having Krystian Pearce in the middle of that back three but we move on. The defence just needs to be more organised as a unit. It also does not help having a keeper who has made big errors in 4 out of 5 games.

Watch the Leyton Orient game back, most of their chances come from strolling past Menayese every time far too easily. Also not sure about his pace, seen him struggle to keep up when average strikers when chasing back. He will definitely improve though

Sorry to say, fear our players morale must be very low, can't see us scoring but can see Morecombe scoring a hat full.

3pts from 7 games after this evening.

I’d say if we can get an early goal and go infront we might get that confidence back, but we’ve gone infront at orient, exeter and newport and gained 1 point from those 3.

Plenty of pressure tonight for sure

A big difference between Stech and Logan, Logan made saves some amazing ones and seriously helped out the defence, one thing is for sure he made more great saves than howlers.
Stech has done nothing to WoW me as yet, Logan would have saved Bradford's 2nd goal, I'm sure of that. Anyway Logan has gone, we have Stech but a better keeper in Stone.
