You are free to decide which games you want to watch Norman.MTFCMAD wrote:Norman wrote:I am Spartacus wrote:This is a game, in a competition which starkly showcases the way the monied teams have raised the drawbridge on football for their own ends.
One generation on from Peacock scoring two goals to humble Man City we are fielding a strong side in essence to give their young players a development game.
£10 to watch a game on tv when last season you could be there and watch for the same amount? The bean counters would be proud of that tactic, irrespective of COVID.
I want us to play well, I want us to win and I want us to be spurred on for Saturday but every passing game in this Competition Is just a layer of dust on the memories of a completion that gave us some of our greatest days in history. Shame really.
Anyway, come on you Stags.
I wouldn’t cross the road to watch this game never mind paying £10 to stream it. I find it insulting to lower league clubs that Man Cities under 21s are in it!

Also good post five to three, but you know if we lose to Tranmere the wrist slitters will be out in full force crying relegation

If you don't win your first game of the season, statistically speaking, you don't get promoted.
It's true, ask David flitcroft.

So you think it’s ok that B teams are allowed in this farce of a competition?

As Man City under 21s are currently beating us, I think your suggestion that it's insulting that they are playing us is out of order.
