I know right. Feels like it's been Sunday since the middle of March.

Probably going to wait for the EFL to confirm the league has been cancelled before announcing it officially.

I agree. He’s one of the best full backs in league two and I’d have backed him to get his body right with all the time off from playing he’ll have due to the coronavirus.

Disappointed to see White leave. When fit he offered us something that no other full back in league 2 can offer.
Would have been more than tempted to take a look at how he had recovered after this long lay off. He wouldn’t need to kick a ball in anger again for months on end. Think we’ve been quite spoilt with him at RB before his injury and we’ll find it difficult to find somebody as effective.

have to say “when fit” one of the best in the lower leagues, however we need to see what the GC brings in to fill his boots i guess

This is one non-signing that only time will tell. Have our medical correctly diagnosed that Hayden’s injury is long term and his career will be cut short? Were the club and the player in these financially straightened times poles apart in contract negotiations with no impasse in sight? I hope that due to the squad shake up we may already have eyes on a replacement and that he goes on to have a long and industrious career.
Will I be dismayed to see him go? Yes, but to paraphrase Douglas Adams, ‘So long and thanks for all the stepovers’.

It could be, we offered White a contract but he wasn't inclined to accept?

Yep, what’s to say it was our decision? He’ll have plenty of takers.

Looks like Hayden whites on his way
One of the better players I’ve seen at Mansfield in the recent years and his injury last season at Colchester went some way to us not going up.
Would also get a warm reception from me when/if he returns
Best of luck buddy

I have always been impressed with White's abilities but tempered by the fact that he always seems to have a penalty or red card in him. He could be one of the best lower league attacking full backs but his injury history is not good. I think with the all action style of the manager Hayden could have more time out than on the pitch.

Agree with the comments about White. Our best right back since Bobby Hassell, but very unlucky with injuries and I would guess he was on a decent wage, which the club didn't want to keep paying for someone who has missed so many games
If he had not been injured last year, we would have been a League 1 side now.
Good Luck Hayden

To be honest I doubt many players who were apart of the promotion push will want to stay. I remember Dempster saying that a few were happy to give us one more season as they want to play higher

White was a shell of his former self I am afraid. Not surprised to see he’s gone.
Quality last season and we’d have gone up for sure if he hadn’t broke his leg/ankle.

Gutted at that. The only realistic replacement right back with attacking qualities that I've seen on par with a fully fit White is Jake Caprice.

Hayden White has only made 27 league starts in the last two seasons. He will also be on big money as we paid a £300,000 transfer fee for him and Lee Angol. GC has made the right decision.
