Score Thread Spons'd by Spelling Police. V Swindon GAME OFF

Postby Sneag » Wed Feb 26, 2020 6:53 pm

'Ere it is then Dave. Didn't realise it was Wednesday already. ;)

I'm going for a dreary 1-0 win played on a swamp of a pitch.

I can't really see us getting anything out of this one and hope we aren't on the end of a tonking

1-3 I'm afraid without really looking like we are in the game.

We did a good job down there, even though we lost, nothing scary at all, they overwhelmed us for the first 20 mins. Better finishing and the points could have come back with us. Weather will be the biggest problem with v strong winds

We seem to do better playing in the monsoon/hurricane type weather.

I think we might get something tomorrow.

They're the best away side in the league but have lost at Newport and drew at Carlisle recently. We've improved at home. Draw for me.

Maybe we should invest in giant fans either side of the Bishop St to blow a gale to keep other sides down to our level. :D

I’ll go 1-1. Conditions turn it into another battle on the pitch.

We might well pass that one but I can see further inspections being needed as the weather gets worse though the day.

Personally I'd be surprised if it goes ahead.

Wonder if the club has put any sheets etc on the pitch to help shelter it? - or do they even do that?
