If Coughlan really wanted to we could have kept him I’m sure. We’re scrapping for points here and he was getting goals off the bench - that’s absolutely VITAL for a team in our position. Should have told him look we need you for the next 6 months, you’re under contract, we paid a decent fee for you, if you want to leave in the summer we’ll assess it then but sorry you can’t go now. He may throw a paddy then gets over it. We’re his employers and we should have shown some backbone simple.
