Score Fred sponsorship by Nathan Thomas hat trick

Postby part time pete » Wed Jan 29, 2020 2:41 pm

As it is Wednesday and nobody has stepped up, I thought i’d try.

In here lads and get a second home win on the bounce.

Going for a space between "score" and "Fred"? Risky.

Who we playing?

Maybe Carlisle are so confident of a result they are only sending Nathan Thomas to play? In that case I'll go with a score draw

Hard to gauge what’s going to happen.

A decent win offering hope against Bradford followed by whatever that was last night.

Carlisle scored 4 against forest green but obviously with Logan in net that probably wasn’t hard.

Big game for both really, we’ve got to pick up some points in this mini run of games against sides down there.

I’ll go 2-1 win

A win here and the Oldham “performance” will be forgiven as it’ll be 6 from 9 which is a good return.

However I can’t see it being easy, especially after Carlisle smacked 4 in at FGR.

I’ll go 2-1 Stags.

Play like we did on Saturday - a 2-0 win
Play like we did on Tuesday - a 1-4 defeat

Let’s hope our latest new signing adds real quality.

We've had another week on t'grass and they all took the day off on Tuesday so we'll be fitter than Carlisle who played midweek.
I'm assuming that this is the Carlisle fred as pete's cryptic title's baffled some. If we can get ahead we may get somat, if we go behind it's gonna be tough.

1-1. I expect some reaction from the Oldham result but Carlisle seem to have more of a threat these days.

A dirty horrible 1-0 win with Psycho Prezzer coming off the bench to scramble home the winner.

Could turn a bit toxic again if we lose tomorrow, especially off the back of Mellis and Cook leaving. Fun!

Surprised at Cook going, but Mellis was getting nowhere near the first 11.

With the same starting 11 that spanked Bradford?

The side and squad has not changed considerably so. Only one player who we all wanted to keep out of the three departees.

So why get over exited, nasty and toxic? That kind of behaviour gets to players, i.e Andy Cook as I have posted about previously. It could be a dogfight so let’s get behind them.

I am going for two nil with both from Maynard. Keep the faith. COYS

I don't think it's so much about the players leaving (even Cooke) but the apparent failure to bring anyone of note in.

From Tuesday's selection it would appear that GC intends to play the new youngsters and I along with plenty of others, think this is a step too far at the wrong time in the season.

Yes we may have unearthed a few gems but alternatively, they may be lumps of fool's gold.

Stevenage (most people's favourites to go down) have brought n a substantial number of players and have enough games left for those players to count. Other teams around the drop zone have also strengthened and I just feel we may have taken an unnecessary risk with our league status.

Now is the time to get behind the team and backbiting and name calling must stop. The wind of change is blowing through The Mill so let's make sure it also blows away the toxicity.

Not sure Khan & Mellis were the type of player you'd want in a dogfight.

Olejnik
Benning Pearce Sweeney Riley
Charsley Bishop Macca
Hamilton Maynard Rose

Best we've got... then bring Omari on to do nothing and Davies to hobble about for 10 mins when we need a goal... should be a great game!

Haha without those that don't want to be here it might do us some good!
