It looks like Michael Jolley was sacked as Grimsby manager after a massive expletive driven rant at the BBC Humberside journalists, Matt Dean, Gwilym Lloyd, and David Burns, after losing 4-0 against Leyton Orient using the f word 58 times!!

Given our current plight, you would rather have a manager with limited experience who favours a direct style of play over an experienced manager who has been successful in higher leagues ?
If Ian Holloway does become the Grimsby manager it will be interesting to see how our respective clubs fare.
Yes. Done exactly what Grimsby have done. Had a caretaker manager and took time to appoint the right man to take us forward.WVStag wrote:Amber Andy wrote:If only we had took a breath before rushing into replacing JD, just look who we could have had.
Should’ve done the traditional thing and advertised the job shouldn’t we chief.

Are you actually trying to wind people up? Or just genuinely dim
Club advertised they were looking for new managers, met with possible candidates that came forward, they chose Graham, approached Bristol and offered him a contract. Carolyn has already said this.

Please show a bit of respect. You have called me a "div" and now I'm "dim". This board is about opinions. My opinion is that given the very short time between the sacking of DF and approaching GC the job cannot have been advertised in the traditional way.
If you have a different opinion fair enough, but time to cut out the insults to me and others on here.
End of!
