10/15 points is what should be accrued with one of the biggest budgets in the league and the team we’ve got.

One of the biggest budgets and the players we’ve got shouldn’t be serving up the whatever it is she’s trying to play - I’m not sure he or his players totally know either

Budget. Budget. Budget.

Stop bleating on about budgets!

Its the big budget that's paying for two experienced goal scorers that we are not creating enough chances for. Got to relevant when looking at our league position and the performances we are seeing.

That we are not supplying our strikers has NOTHING to do with budget.

Yes it has to do with the managers tactics. Just a side issue that the chairman is pumping his own money into the squad and not getting the performances or results that the investment deserves.

Love how some think not having a big budget is irrelevant, what a simplified view. Whatever would dempster have done with morecambes budget? They’d have about 2 points! Why did Man City win the premiership last season or Salford get promoted through the leagues so quickly? Magical unicorns and pixies? Or is it this B word that’s so offensive? What got guardiola and graham Alexander at those 2 clubs? The b word or those unicorns and pixies? Hmm.

It provides you with the ability to have some of the best players in the league - which Uptop we have, also in defence - that he’s managing a side so ineptly with what he has highlights the issue. Had we been 14th in the league under haslam I’d have been delighted as we’d have had the budget the size of a thick end of a penny

Bought their way to league one basically. They've never had a small budget

Exactly, anyone with any idea of lower league football would have been well aware of this.

Mansfield Town boss John Dempster plays down League Two award nominations
chad.co.uk, by JOHN LOMAS, Tuesday 05 November 2019

Mansfield Town manager John Dempster played down his Sky Bet League Two Manager of the Month Award nomination for October after November began with another home defeat by Colchester last weekend.

Ahead of that Stags had enjoyed a fine October that has also seen winger Otis Khan nominated for the Sky Bet League Two Player of the Month Award.

“The nominations are simply because we had a decent last month - but that’s been and gone,” said Dempster.

“In terms of accolades that’s not the place we’re in right now.

“As a group, myself, the staff and the players, we’re not looking for pats on the back as we’ve not been good enough.

Thank you, MTFCMAD. I stand corrected about Fleetwood. I apologise for my FORLORNLY FAULTY FYLDE FOOTBALL FINANCIAL FACT FILE.

It’s reassuring to know that Stagsnet has its “budget anoraks” to correct old farts like me.

Adamstag - you must be correct (you always are) - in 52 years of supporting Mansfield Town, I have learned absolutely NOTHING about lower league football.

Well done Adam - it must be great up there on that pedestal.

:mtfc: ;)
