How he's lasted this long beggars belief.

Surely it’s until they get someone else in.

I’m starting to think Saturday could get quite entertaining.

I can't believe he's still in charge, my only worry is if we get a win tomorrow then they will think he has turned a corner.

It's just incredible how quick they were to pull the trigger on Flitcroft having finished 4th yet they are seemingly hoping against hope that Dempster can turn this around.

this is alot to do with hymas, he is very pro youth set up and pushed for JD to be appointed, he is still clinging on to JD turning this around.

It seems like the Radford’s and the board are waiting for Dempster and the team to finally string a few wins together so that they can somehow vindicate their awful decision to hire him. We desperately need a win on Saturday, however if we do, I’m worried that the Radford’s will take it as fair means to keep him until Christmas at least.

Even if we win 3 on the bounce now it wouldn’t change my mind on Dempster one bit. He is clearly not going to be the manager who gets us promoted.

Exactly. To me, the Radford’s and the board thinking that John Dempster the rookie youth team manager can do what Flitcroft couldn’t - get us promoted - shows to me that they have very VERY little football acumen.

Not accepting their mistake and dragging this big mistake on just makes this worse and further backs up my thoughts on their football brains. I hope they can prove me wrong. I appreciate all the money they’ve pumped into the club over the years but to be successful you need to make good footballing decisions.

Bloody Gillingham got West Ham in the cup. That's a big local team for Evans so write him off for the time being. He'll want to play that tie.

On account Birmingham Stags thread and my subsequent thread has been earlier pulled by the Mods, I presume, re a 'meeting' tonight...might I suggest there is a deep concern for MTFC.

Whether it is JD or the Radfords.....

Of course..this is a conspiracy theory

Why have both our threads been deleted?

I stand to be corrected, as usual if I have missed something..

If I’ve got this right we have played at home 13 times this season and won just 3

One of these was against bottom of the National League Chorley

Out of the 10 we didn’t win, there was only 2 where we actually scored first namely Orient that we ended up losing to and Crewe who we lost to on penalties. (Our 4th straight penalty shootout loss this year)

Think you missed the point Martin.

The 'same topic' as you put it was only raised at 4.43pm today.

My question was, as was BS's, was there a 'meeting' tonight re the Manager, players or the Radfords position?

There was one question mark in your post. I answered your question.

The rumour was posted by paulstag. Generally speaking if he told me today was Monday, I'd check my diary.

So, can I see paulstag's rumour post then Martin? Where is it?

This merging of posts confuses me. My original post was not under the 'Has he gone yet?' thread. perhaps if there is a merging of threads (albeit tenious imo on this particular issue) then posters ought to be notified. I had no idea that had happened!

And yes, it is Monday... ;)

Didn’t Radford say a while back that they never hire or sack a manager unless all the board members agree to it. Something tells me with this that JR & CR want to cut their losses and get rid of JD ASAP, and the directors closer to the youth team set up want him to be given longer.

But if that's correct how does it sit with Carolyn openly stating that she didn't want to sack Mr Flitcroft?
