That's an interesting question. I haven't seen any discussion on that point. The alternative could be to have a draw from all of the defeated teams from the previous round which could be interesting.

Thanks Martin - however the point remains how will the void be filled? The article stops short of providing a solution.
32 teams will progress from qualifying round 4 add league 2 and league 1 teams leaves 79 teams.
Happy to be the team that gets the bye please.
