I don't think that team I posted is far off. Dapo didn't impress me in his cameo on Saturday. Cook is touch and go, can't see him competing 90 minutes.

For me I'd swap MacDonald with Khan. The rare time Hamilton played behind the front 2 last season I thought he did well. So Khan and Hamilton behind Rose. Almost like a Christmas tree, except this time Rose is the star and not a fairy (perhaps a tad harsh with his form but it fits with the analogy)

The down side to that is it means changing shape to something completely new and could backfire.

The schools are back which impacts on the attendance, we have not had the start we wanted, sections of the crowd are chomping at the bit to get at JD and we still have a lengthy injury list. So for these reasons I expect the atmosphere to be muted possibly with an under current of expected anti-JDism.

Hopefully an early goal will settle the antagonism which has the potential to be the ‘elephant in the crowd’.

So two nil to Mansfield for me, but then again, less hope is wrong.

It's at a point where I will wait until the team sheet is released before even thinking about how the game will go. If I've guessed correctly above then I think a win could be on the cards, providing that when we go long we get it towards Rose, if its Hamilton we a for it will be a long game (not slating CJ there, he's not the best in the air)
