Either way, Cambridge at home is quite obviously a home win, there is no other alternative - we’ve basically buggered up one of the most favourable opening 10 games of the season we’ve had in some time.
The decision to sack the bumbling flitcroft was inevitably correct as he couldn’t handle the big occasion, but the choice of replacement manager was haphazard at best
Was it correct?
We had a perfectly good manager who was progressing the club.
Unfortunately for some the progress was too slow. Now we've gone backwards.
I suppose only he will know how he managed to implode so spectacularly last season (and the players) it was bizarre that we finally managed to achieve the impossible 2 seasons in a row yet he managed that so well - just in the wrong direction
I think this promotion thing and having a massive budget is a monkey on our back.
It's time to get real.
We got rid of a manager who had progressed this club. We've replaced him with someone who is still learning. Some people think that it was a case of getting rid of DF replacing him with another manager and the players would get us promoted no problem.
It doesn't work like that.
I think it was a barmy decision to get rid of a manager who got us so close. Now we have JD and even with the same set of players it will be difficult to get us promoted.
I think we should get the promotion thing out of our heads and get behind the manager. At the moment we are going backwards but as JD begins to learn I'm confident we will start to improve.
