Khan' s free kick

Postby five to three » Wed Aug 21, 2019 3:02 pm

Am I correct that Khan's free kick hit the woodwork and then when it came back out he was the one that picked the ball up. If so it should have been a free kick to Orient!

Think that might be the third free kick in a row he has hit the woodwork with. Ridiculous accuracy.

Interesting news come out today that he has been banned from driving after dangerous driving. He mentions in his comments that there had been talk of him going on loan to a Manchester club (in April 2019)

True but it’s still extremely accurate.

Pity he can't hit the 24ft x 8ft target tho' ;)

To be fair, the actual target is much smaller, unless you're including the areas covered by the wall or within the goalkeeper's reach. A great free kick has to go over the wall and then dip into the corner of the goal, first try. Quite a skill.

It is for any dead ball situation

You cannot take a throw in and then play the ball with your feet

From a free kick/penalty/corner/goal kick you can only play the ball once. This is to stop players dribbling the ball.
