Best defence last season and no problem scoring the goals.
It's was just that little bit in midfield or maybe a big bit that counted.
Hopefully we see what we need more of if any after 10 games.
The desire to win and not give in is obvious.

How else would he ever get to post though? It would be a very narrow window of opportunity.

4) The new management team can motivate this squad when they are in the mire and turn things round

5) the squad has real alternatives to make a difference if things are going belly up

6) Danny Rose appears to be useful again

It was awful to be fair, especially when we all knew we were going to setup and play that way

You've spent the last decade or more blaming fans for pretty much everything. This latest whinge from you is now crossing threads and its dull as.

It's hardly new shocking news is it. Yes we have fans who over react. We also have those, like yourself, that cry like a toddler at a whole list of pathetic things. Glass houses spring to mind tater.

I found the 1st half hysteria quite amusing really. I just had a gut feeling we'd turn it around 2nd half, and the doom mongers would be left wiping egg off their faces. Shame Maynard missed the pen.

That thread should be framed. The utter hysteria is hilarious

Something of an anticlimax for the Flipflop lovers who would of been creaming themselves at halftime, nevermind there's always next week.

People whinging about the whingers..... and folk absolutely certain we would turn it around. The first half was a joke and was rightly called so. We would have won the game if we set up correctly from the start, but we should rightly take our hats off to the manager and team for turning it around. It showed a real togetherness and team spirit. A tough game is out the way now and I think we will get better each game.

We were awful first half to be fair, we looked unorganised and scared of the ball. We couldn't handle newports in your face style of play and their crosses into the box.

Second half different story, played on the front foot, with confidence. I hope this has made JD realise he needs to start Khan.

I obviously wasn't there but wonder whether Khan was an intended and perfect substitute to bring on against such a physical side

I think he was always going to come on, but if that's how the team are going to perform without him then he needs to start. New right back did well too.

As I said, there's always next week.
Just out of curiosity has the master tactician got a new post yet or is he waiting for Zidane to vacate his position ?
